BMS End User Documentation

This document provides instructions for safe and effective use of the BMS in the HIGHDRA copter.

Getting Started

  1. Installation:
    Place the 6 packs of BMS inside the copter. Ensure the BMS is securely placed inside the copter as per the manufacturer's instructions.

  2. Activation:

    • Press the designated button on one BMS for 1s to power it on.
    • The LED indicator should light up when the button is pressed.
    • Activation is performed on all BMS packs, indicated by a orange LED. After 1s, the LED changes to green, indicating a ready to use copter.
  3. Operation:

    • Only use the packs of a battery set it was supplied with (same color encoded plate, near the handle).
    • Do not use the HIGHDRA with with incomplete battery configuration.

Indicators

  • 🟢 Green LED: BMS is fully operating.
  • 🟠 Orange LED: BMS is in Precharge mode during activation.
  • 🔴 Red LED: Indicates an error. Refer to the BMS Interface for troubleshooting steps.

Safety Notes

  • Always follow safety guidelines when handling batteries.
  • Disconnect the BMS if any abnormal behavior is observed.
